IASO 2012 – now available!

We proudly announce that since 15.12.2011 the new IASO 2012 software is available for all of our customers. IASO 2012 is now even more powerful and efficient. We’re introducing up-to-date features that will enhance and improve your backup processes dramatically.

IASO 2012 is developed in a way to minimize the usage of resources and to maximize the efficiency of your business.

Remote installation

Now it becomes easier to install IASO 2012 on all computers over your local network. Since we introduced the Remote installation feature there is no need to login to every computer anymore. The IASO Management console allows to install the application remotely without the need of logging in to the specific machines.

NOTE: Remote installation is available only for Windows platforms.

Color-coding

In order to monitor and analyze your customer’s activity IASO Backup provides you with Color-coding option. For example, it is possible to divide customers into groups by client status, company name and size of storage used by giving them special color. As a result, in Management console window all clients are groped properly according to the rules/query that you have requested.

Oracle backup

Today we provide our current customers with an opportunity to backup Oracle. It is important to note that IASO Backup guarantee our customers referential integrity by using RMAN.

VMWare Backup – Single file restore

Along with VMWare backup and restore we implemented a VMWare Single file restore. In other words, now it is possible to restore single file without restoring the whole virtual machine.

Microsoft SharePoint backup

IASO Backup also would like to announce that we developed an opportunity to Backup and Restore Windows SharePoint Services.

Archiving of backups

As well as cleaning functionality, we provide all our customers with archiving of backups feature. In other words, it means that we save all your important backups actual on the server even if they are behind the retention period. And you can easily restore any information even if it was backed up a year ago.

Common files technology

Usually when there is a necessity to backup Windows or MS Office from different computers to one server in this case it takes time and backup speed is slow. To make this process faster and more effective IASO developed a new Common files technology. It means that we register common files on our server and they will not be sent and backed up twice. Therefore, it reduced size of storage used.
NOTE: Please find out that IASO calculates used storage as a common storage plus private storage.

2-tier backup

Most companies would like to use backup application in offline mode as well to speed up restore process. To satisfy the both groups of customers we introduce a new tier that could replace backup server, it duplicates all server data and uses local file system or network share as storage.

Parallels Automation

Another way to monitor your client’s backup process is a Parallels Automation package. With this service it is possible to create groups of backup accounts, control resources used by the group and many other useful options.

Selfservice Restore

There can be situations when important files are not available over the network. In these cases, IASO Selfservice Restore functionality gives an opportunity to end user to easily restore all necessary documents through Windows Explorer to his own computer. IASO guarantee absolute security of this process.
